The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) is the largest and longest-running event in horse sports, a 12-week equestrian extravaganza held from January 7th through March 29th, 2009. The WEF takes place annually at the newly renovated Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida. 

The Winter Equestrian Festival is to horse sports what Wimbledon is to tennis, the America’s Cup is to sailing and The Masters is to golf. The WEF events are sanctioned by the Federation Equestre International (FEI), the international governing body of equestrian sports affiliated to the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), the FEI’s national counterpart.
